The perfect Valentine

For Valentine's Day, Mark took me to "Central Park" in "New York." We actually went to Anthem, where they have a really nice park. We took a tour of the park on our bikes and had a photo scavenger hunt. We then had a picnic by the waterfall. As we stopped to pick up our lunch from the back of the car, I saw Mark pull out what looked to me to be some hastily made and somewhat mushed together peanut butter sandwhiches. I was hungry--but I wasn't sure I was that hungry. However, to my delight and amazement, Mark spread out a truly magnificent lunch. We had a blanket to sit on, a little breakfast-in-bed table to eat on, Valentine goblets filled with Martinelli apple cider, mashed potatoes, really tender rotisserie chicken, potato salad, cornbread, and peaches and yogurt. It was so good! Then, to top it all off, there was peach cobbler ice cream for dessert! I was pretty impressed. He even remembered napkins, an item I often forget at picnics. The bread I had seen earlier, incidentally, was intended for the ducks. What a wonderful Valentine's present!

The Feast

We found out that keys make great bottle openers!
