Bethany Swimming

Bethany loves to swim . . . in the bathtub. Someone gave me this really cute swimsuit, and since Bethany will outgrow it before we go swimming in a real pool, I thought I'd take a little video of her first time swimming--in the tub. :)

Odds and Ends

I just realized that I forgot to talk about Michael's birthday. Michael turned three. He is now in Sunbeams. He had a great birthday with lemon cupcakes for dessert. He is growing up fast! I'm also including a few more pictures of Bethany in this last post.

The New Year

We had a great New Year's Day. Christopher resolved to be happy throughout the upcoming year, and Michael decided that for his resolution, he wanted to paint. We drove to St. George for the weekend. Bethany did really well during the car trip, which was nice. It was fun to hang out with my family and to meet and see Mark and Misty's baby, Ian, get blessed. We dressed Bethany up in her blessing dress and got some fun pictures of the two babies together.

Blessing Day

Mark's parents and sister came the day after Christmas and spent some time with us. The boys loved the attention they recieved, and it was really fun to be together and to see some of Mark's extended family. Sunday the 28th we blessed Bethany. She did really well--slept all through the blessing.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day went smoothly. The boys enjoyed their presents and the parents enjoyed their naps. Christopher was excited about his transformers and legos, while Michael was excited about his art kit and cooking gear.

Nativity Play

We had fun doing the Nativity play with Paul and Mari and co. Christopher played Joseph, Sarah played Mary, Christina the angel, Michael and Mark the wisemen, Paul and Mari the shepherds, and I was the narrator. It was nice to have a full cast.

Christmas 2008

We had a great Christmas. On Christmas Eve, Paul and Mari surprised us by showing up on our doorstep singing "Frosty the Snowman" and toting a cooler full of snow! We had a snowball fight and built a snowman. What a great Christmas present!
