I lost my tooth!

Christopher lost his first tooth while biting into a marshmallow.

The very next day, he lost his second tooth--literally--while biting into a marshmallow.  We never did find that tooth.  The current theory is that he swallowed it.

The perfect Valentine

For Valentine's Day, Mark took me to "Central Park" in "New York." We actually went to Anthem, where they have a really nice park. We took a tour of the park on our bikes and had a photo scavenger hunt. We then had a picnic by the waterfall. As we stopped to pick up our lunch from the back of the car, I saw Mark pull out what looked to me to be some hastily made and somewhat mushed together peanut butter sandwhiches. I was hungry--but I wasn't sure I was that hungry. However, to my delight and amazement, Mark spread out a truly magnificent lunch. We had a blanket to sit on, a little breakfast-in-bed table to eat on, Valentine goblets filled with Martinelli apple cider, mashed potatoes, really tender rotisserie chicken, potato salad, cornbread, and peaches and yogurt. It was so good! Then, to top it all off, there was peach cobbler ice cream for dessert! I was pretty impressed. He even remembered napkins, an item I often forget at picnics. The bread I had seen earlier, incidentally, was intended for the ducks. What a wonderful Valentine's present!

The Feast

We found out that keys make great bottle openers!

Cute Bethany

Bethany is rapidly developing her sweet tooth. She loves candy hearts! When she received her very own box of candy hearts, she was in heaven. I think the entire box was gone in ten minutes.

Valentine Pictures

We had our 18-week ultrasound and found out the we will be having a little girl! We are very excited! She is due on July 11th.

Our trip to St. George

Bethany has really started walking! It's fun to watch her toddle along.

The Sand Dunes

Granna, Christopher, and Michael walk through the dunes together.
Dad and Bethany slowly make their way through the sand.

The kids LOVED the sand dunes. Bethany was fascinated with the texture of the sand, and Christopher and Michael had fun jumping down the hills. It was a little cold for me, but I guess that's because I'm too used to the nice weather in Phoenix.

New Years in St. George

While we were in St. George we took a tour of my dad's charter school. Christopher was pretty impessed when he found out that Grandad was a principal. On the way home he asked, "Does Granna know you're a principal?" "Oh, she's aware of it," my dad replied.
We had a lot of fun hiking the "D" .
